Standoff Standalone is a cyberrange segment, featuring standalone hosts with unique configurations and multiple vulnerabilities. The hosts represent different industries of the virtual State F so you can hone your hacking skills using various attack tools and techniques.
 
Level up by triggering critical events of varying difficulty. Some of them may be familiar to you from Standoff cyberbattles, but others are brand-new.

After publications about access to Messenger's internal resources, confirmation of a more serious incident emerged. The attackers gained access to the messenger's encryption key, extracted it from the environment variables of one of the application's servers, and used it to analyze encrypted traffic.

The compromise allowed them to decrypt user correspondence, intercept data, and interfere with the message transmission process. Essentially, the confidentiality of user communications was breached.

Users began to publicly abandon the service and share their reactions: "If anyone can read our correspondence, there's no point in such a messenger," "I deleted the app until it becomes clear what's happening with security," "We were promised secure communication, but instead we got a leak and silence from the developers."
